Ana came to Proxima during a season when life felt rushed and disconnected. Work, family, and city life left little room for stillness or deep relationships. When she began meeting weekly with a Proxima coach, she didn’t expect how transformative those simple conversations would become. Together they practiced presence — learning to pause, breathe, and notice God’s activity in daily routines.
Each week Ana tried one small rhythm: walking her neighborhood without headphones, greeting a barista by name, or praying for a coworker instead of rushing past. Slowly, the hurried edges of her life began to soften. As Ana became more aware of God’s nearness, she also became more present to others. Neighbors started opening up, and friendships deepened. Eventually, she invited a friend from church to try the same practices, and now they meet monthly to share how they are Living Proxima together.
